Security certificate update

A new Application Code Signing Certificate will be deployed to all Business Online java 1.4 users on 20 April 2010. When logging onto Business Online you will be asked to ‘Accept’ the new Security Certificate, please ensure you have administrator rights on your computer. If the request is declined, your application will terminate and you will need to restart Business Online. The individual steps are illustrated below:

STEP 1 - Click the Logon button.

STEP 2 – Click More options

STEP 3 - Select Always run software from “Standard Bank of South Africa Limited” and click Run

STEP 4 - Log onto the Business Online application

This change will NOT result in an Electronic Software Download (ESD).

You will only have to accept the Certificate ONCE, regardless of the number of the products (e.g. Domestic Banking, International Banking, FX Trading or Custody Communications) you utilise.
